Creating multiple copies of yourself means that many copies of you are the same as you but does not experience the same consciousness, you may be the limked to the same consciousness but once the original dies then the you won't remain the you, you were. Your personality is affected by your decisions, and if those clones are set in different times frames then won't their self be different from you? Won't the clone consciousness consume you? If it doesn't then, the you won't remain the you and thereby you will be lost in terms creating a new you that has the memories, experience, thoughts of you but actually not you.
