May I know how that happened

His last message was: "I am moving in to a hospice. I'm sorry I couldn't finish my stories before my own. Goodbye."

So he either died in a hospital bed at those hospice facilities or at his home getting taken care of by his family. Hospice is when the doctors give up and you just wait for whatever condition you have to put you to rest.
