But aren’t all those just tropes of isekai and light novels of the time? ‘When they Cry’ is a horror based on the Japanese country side… I have only just started watching a play through, the only things that have been spoiled for me was the nail removal scene and that people are dismembered. But that was only because I was a weeb in high school…
