It's in our DNA. As much as technological advancement has softened humans as a species, deep down men are still the protectors. We're living far longer than nature has intended and we all long for a valiant death with purpose (subconsciously). Video games and movies allow us to fulfill that deep-seeded ideal of ourselves. Slay the dragon, defeat the Hoard, save the city. Boys don't grow up playing war or swinging "swords" the world over because society is inherently violent, it's because we are, and in the absence of actual conflict we play at it.

Humans are dumb. They hate each other for stupid reasons.

And i never watched this show (even hated it before for a while) but this summarize it well in a sarcastic way :
Even if the planet all turned into females or males only, there would still be infighting. Its inheritant of human DNA.
Just like CNs say : Where there are people, there are "rivers and lakes" (conflicts/grouping)

ps : ABO world would a solution. Kinda. Maybe, maybe not. At least everyone would understand each other better in term of "equality" and replace it with A/B/O traits, which are btw, very RNG.

No it wouldn't. Many people who are born with one trait might wish to be treated as another trait. A beta who wishes to be treated as an alpha or as an omega for example.
