Me win you lose
That's like every unending game ever.An interesting game I have stumbled upon... One winner, but everchanging and always temporary...
???Ghkoo
I have made some mistakes, I could have SWORN Pnuema's chest just said "Pnuema" I played xenoblades 2 Dx Okay, I'm gonna delete my account. I'm too embarrassed at this point. Also at what point did I ever say the animation was "Good"? Literally the post is like "This is my first animation, please be kind" and everyone's expecting 10 years of experience and a bachelors of art. Bro like, I started two weeks ago, chill.
Danbooru has strict quality standards, and you're asking why the post got downvoted. I recommend posting your art elsewhere because Danbooru is more of a curated art database.
Comment gold. This is my biggest issue with people with that mindset.
I can happily accept that they might have radically different views on what makes an IP, Franchise or piece of Media “Good”, I can happily accept that they might have incredibly stringent views and standards that 90% of media doesn’t match but that they personally want to be the norm (they’re pretty puritanical about it but you do you).
I can even happily accept that they view others who don’t share their views as “the enemy” and label us everything awful under the sun.
What really grinds my gears is their hypocrisy. They don’t have the integrity to even adhere to their own morally superior principles they demand the rest of the Western world follow.
If they held everyone even their own to the same set of standards I’d actually respect them, I’d disagree with their takes, but I’d respect their convictions and parity in enforcing those standards.
But it’s not. It’s constantly this “one rule for thee another for me” mindset. It’s sneaky, insidious, and underhanded. A sort of cowardly insincere sleaziness where they’ll say anything as long as they can do what they want with impunity to “win” and then deny that they ever said or did anything else at all.
I’ve seen it online countless times, and unfortunately in real life too.
It seems to come from this unflappable self belief that they are pure and perfect and have never done any wrong, making any idea of “People in Glass Houses shouldn’t throw stones” or “Pot calling the Kettle Black” utterly redundant because they genuinely believe they have never and will never do any wrong because they can’t do any wrong. If they do it then it has to be right, even if they’re decrying someone else for doing the exact same thing.
Don't be a teacher in low-income areas. The parents will teach those kids to love ignorance.![]()
(wanted to post somewhere else, but it was happy mood so didnt. Post here)
Offtopic.
The poor dude teacher is pitiful.
Get bullied by kid. (and its a hurtful prank) (stack on butt) (also NOT FIRST TIME - to the point he now took the filming as proof)
Get mocked by class bc of prank.
Get lower appreciation in front of superior.
Will get reputation of being crazy and maybe fired.
Mental dmg of not being believed.
Super family going out and not giving a fuck of him, not feeling remorse, nor apologized or gave compensation.
tldr
Teacher profession sucks.
And he is as sad as the backstory of Hans.
Morality and narcissism seem to me very interwoven, in many ways.Comment gold.
I love the "grinds my gears" and "hypocrisy"
Imagine this. You go to a restaurant and you order a burger but the waiter brings you out a boot, the boot of a construction worker who lays asphalt. You look around and everyone else has a disgusting boot too. Some are eating it and swearing up and down the laces taste like the finest beef. Others are looking around nervously.
At the exit you see a tall Scottish guy loudly insisting that there’s better things to eat than boots. The wait staff rush him out and you look down at the boot. Maybe this guy has a point. So you follow him out and he shows you a real burger joint, where actual meat is being served on bread. You sit down to eat with him, glad you’re not the only one who noticed boots aren’t edible.
Across the street those same people are eating their boots, calling you a bigot and racist and phobe for not wanting a sweaty sole in your mouth.
Finally Feeling OP in EO
EO3
I'm currently playing EO3HD. Before this, I've completed (in order):
This is the first time I've actually felt OP and well-optimized in an EO game.
- EO4
- EO1U
- EO2U
- EOX
In EO4--my first EO ever-- I had no idea what I was doing when building my team. Based on my general RPG knowledge, I went with:
Frontline: Landy/Ronin, Fortress/Dancer, Nightseeker/Landy, Runemaster/Medic, Medic/Runemaster. I built my Landy to be defensive with a shield rather than offensive, and my NS to focus on status effects, so the Runemaster was my only big damage dealer. Luckily, EO4 was relatively easy, which I had no idea, so I was able to beat the story, though not the endgame content. But every single boss fight took me FOREVER to finish, and typically only after multiple attempts.
In EO1U, I played Story Mode so my team was predetermined. I beat the story, but never felt like any boss fight was particularly easy.
In EO2U, I tried to make the game a little harder on myself by not having a magic dealer, so the only elemental damage came from my Ronin, and those elemental skills only unlocked later (I think I unlocked them in his skill tree by the third stratum), so bosses with elemental weaknesses were just brutal for me.
In EOX, I thought I did a little better with my team building, but I didn't know about the Hero images competing with the Ninja images, and I had both in my team, so I beat the story, but I was nowhere near optimized.
I feel like my knowledge about RPG team composition held me back from creating high damage dealing teams, where I typically resorted to Tank, DPS, Healer, Magic, Status/Binds team comps.
Now that I'm playing EO3, I wanted to finally feel OP, so I did a lot of reading about possible team comps, subclass options, etc.
I eventually landed on:
Frontline: Gladiator/Buc, Wildling/Hoplite
Backline: Buc/Arbalist, Zodiac/Gladiator, Monk/Sovereign.
My team is currently level 46-48 and I just beat Shin.
-The Gladiator hits like a truck. Berserker Vow + Charge +Bind Cut after the Wildling has bound the enemy is nuts.
-Zodiac using Berserker Vow + Charge + Meteor + Hellfire while the enemy is weakened by Wolf Howl AND Eagle Eye is just straight abusive.
After all these years and all these games, it feels nice to finally "get it" and stomp an EO boss.
That's all. Thanks for reading. [<<<<<<<<<<tsuru [edit]]
why do you only talk in quotes?-------------
