Yeah, and it is called zanpakuto. So i kinda see some potential in this
You asking about the genre or the manhwa? I haven't read this before but it looks a lot like Murim RPG Simulation with a mix of other generic murim manhwasLast time i asked for hot takes on solo leveling (any of its media)
This time i ask about "infinite level up in Murim"
Be it novel or the manga itself
Any interesting hot takes?
ManhwaYou asking about the genre or the manhwa? I haven't read this before but it looks a lot like Murim RPG Simulation with a mix of other generic murim manhwas
Yeah Never read it but it looked generic. You won't find any hot takes, since no one read it(probably). I think the only ones who read it is me, @ElliePorter , and I don't know the third one. Maybe @Rhaps ? Anyway, it's tropey, it's boring, still better than Solo Leveling, but the art is so-so, so it had no chance.
There not ton of stories who use weapon in that way, but you can still find some, Bleach with the zanpakuto, 666 satan with O-part, Soul eater with the meister and demon weapon system, Guilty Crown with the void in each person, The King Avatar with the upgrade system, The Novel Extra with the Author modification system, Tate no Yuusha with the skill system, etc...I think it had/has potential
Mostly the part about each weapon giving a buff when used and being capable of upgrading it throught training
I never seen this spin on the weapons of system/game like mangas, usually its just items that can and will be changed for better version
So i kinda see some potential in this and in part of the mc being able to cary more than 2 weapons at the time using is unique (in world) fighting style
It may be not for you, or you didn't found the good ones for you, but you can find a lot of "Asian fantasy" and Wuxia stories with more plot than just "a linear power progression"Asian fantasy and wuxia are boring. I just can't get interested in it. I'll try reading but I just can't get any joy. Especially stories that only relove around getting stronger. I need more meat for me to be interested in a plot than a simple linear power progression.
