It's weird because I feel like it's AI, yet there is too much wrongness that only a human could make for it to be AI.
Sorry for the nitpick, but if your friend really drew it, then I would like to point out some points:
Firstly, the posing is very weird. No one really sits like that; it looks really uncomfortable. You should make your friend sit in that pose yourself.
Second, long leg and short leg. learn human proportions again.
Third, the hand is missing a finger. Unless I'm trippin, where is the thumb?
Fourth, the lighting is all wrong.
Fifth, coloring. Yeah, you got scammed, it's def AI for sure, unless your friend doesn't know how to use fill tool. Look at the hair; the coloring is all over the place. her right arm's shirt (the white color) got tangled with her hair (the purple color). Her left arm is lost, got cut by the hair.
Please, if you use AI, say it. We don't mind its AI, we only mind if you're honest or not.
