If you want to promote your work, please post a thread in the Readers > Latest Chapter Discussion section.

Don't create promotional threads anywhere. Most of the forum's users are authors.

Furthermore, a common promotion strategy on SH is to update chapters regularly and patiently wait for readers.

Of course, you can increase visibility with an attractive cover and a synopsis that has a hook.

However, getting your work noticed by readers? That takes time unless you're already well-known.
