I mean I don't fault you for it. I also am giving "easier said than done" advice, because I too go full Charlie Kelly on these things tryna work it out just

So far I have seen different thoughtlines, that or I have finally gone crazy

The first being Skill is something tangible and techniques are the hows on the skill, the greater your technique the higher your skill level

The second being Technique being the method of task and Skill is just a word to state when to use the technique

The third is just the first but reverse the roles.

Well because technique is a method, like I said previously. Whereas skill is experience, the level of your ability in said technique.

You can learn all the techniques you want, that wont change how skilled you are in them if you dont practice repeatedly. But you can increase your skills/experience/efficiency in those techniques. One effects the other. But not the other way around.

I can learn to draw in any style of art I choose, but how good I will be is determined by practice, see? Well, talent is also a factor in these things tho. But let's not get into that. Talent is just how fast you learn something or how well. It drives skill. Like an experience boost.

I Dunno why people have different schools of thought here. It's literally just avout looking at the definitions of the words.

Possibly because when you have an unhinged OP whose english is in the toilet even though it is supposed to be his mother tongue and said OP has the tendency to derail the topic like what he is doing now.

Skills are passive. Techniques are active IMO.

The skill to use a weapon is different from a technique used to cleave heads.

TLDR version of everything. Skill is the execution, technique is the method. Why overthink it?
