That's it. I'm repurposing my story into a litRPG.

Are we talking to Chat GPT right now? Because these responses are exactly the way Chat GPT and other predictive text programs talk when you indicate the way they responded did not measure up to what you stated in your original question and give them further clarification.
You are talking to a person.

Yeah, I'd never read a story like that. It sounds like complete trash the way you just described it. A guy just wants to go kill every god because... what? He just wants to prove he's powerful? Yeah, that's trash.

If you want that plot, the MC needs a relatable motive to go on this quest to kill every god that's not "just to prove he's powerful." Or, if it is just to prove he's powerful, you need some sort of way to justify why that's interesting to the reader.
Yeah, I should've been more specific, lol. I won't tell you his actual motive for killing the gods, but it's nothing like what you've described. Let's just say my MC became the Peerless Champion in the worst way possible, along the lines of "power at the price of mental health" and a touch of, "You can't fight fate no matter what, and now, you have a depressive past that could have been easily avoided."

Pretty sure you don't need an actual motive for killing gods. The world is a better place without them.

Paying editors and getting into inner circle of accomplished writer seems easier, less complicated, and more practical, if not for the amount of time and money need to be spent.
Dude. Takes about... an hour to edit 2500 words.

Let me explain something about writing.

If you have not rewritten your story at least four times, you are either Stephen King, or lame.

1. Write the story.
2, Rewrite the story.
3. Put the story through Text to speech and rewrite the story.
4. Put through a spell checker and rewrite the story.
5. Feed it through ChatGPT and rewrite the story.
6. Have someone else read it and then rewrite the story.

IF YOU DO NOT AT LEAST RE-READ AND REWRITE A HALF DOZEN TIMES...
THAT is why your writing sucks. Even after I've done all the normal, by the book rereading and rewriting, I STILL will re-read any given chapter before I re-upload at least 1 more time and tweak it right up to post time.

ChatGPT Speeds up the process. It saves me TIME as I don't have to manually check for word duplication.

Never use the same word more than once if you can avoid it, and if you must reuse a word, keep it to three reuses in a chapter.

Never use the following without a very good reason:
Suddenly
Then
Very
Really
Started
Just
Somewhat
Slightly
Somehow
Seem(s)
Definitely

I used to have to check this all manually, but now the AI does it. Much, MUCH faster.

Paying someone to edit my work? NO. Please. They'll just do what I'm already doing. Unless they are buying the book, it's faster and cheaper to do it myself.

Pft. ChatGPT is very predictable. You can tell when someone is using it. In fact, Here's a trick

Copypasta the suspect Text into ChatGPT.
Ask ChatGPT, Did you write this?
It will TELL YOU.
BTW, DON'T USE CHATGPT TO WRITE TERM PAPERS.
Pretty sure you don't need an actual motive for killing gods. The world is a better place without them.

Stephen King
Just to point out. Stephan King is famously a pantser, this is one of the reason he rewrites and revises his draft in a ruthless and brutal fashion.

And also just saying...
to nobody in particular...
While it is, in my humble opinion that, rewriting is a necessary part of writing, one should not rewrite without knowing why, or for what reason they are changing it.

Rewriting without meaningful change, is not always a good idea. imo.

Here's the gist of my isekai litRPG idea: Sword Art Online meets Chrono Trigger-style dual/triple techs, meets Minecraft (but only for crafting legendary weapons and magic skills), meets Hunter x Hunter power restrictions, meets Princess Bride dialogue, meets Game of Thrones politics, meets Gintama comedy, meets Chainsaw Man character complexity, meets Terraria accessories, meets Chrono Cross existentialism.
I love it already, have you tried pitching it to literary agents?
