Story Size vs Release Schedule?

I currently have 64 chapters totalling 280,000 words released over the past two years.

Because I value quality over quantity, it's taken me three weeks to release my latest chapter.

I was wondering: how established must a story be before the audience stops caring about release frequency?

How big? How long? How deep must it go?

It really depends. Sometimes people won't read a story until it's complete. There are actually a lot of readers like that. My completed novel elsewhere got a spike of readers on completion and continues to get new readers. However, if you are writing something unpopular, there might not be that spike.

Also you should really number your chapters. You are losing readers by not doing so.

4.4k-word chapters are insane.

Personally, I think that 1k+ chapters are sufficient for SH.
Usually, I aim for 1.5k to 2k, which, most people argue, is already a little too long for SH standards. 4k+ definitely is.

If you turn your 4k+ chapters into 3 or 4 chapters, your readers will most likely go up by a lot! You could release more than 1 chapter a week that way.

So I have been releasing twice weekly on multiple platforms and I see what I feel like are decent numbers and devoted readers but I do not seem to get alot of feedback. Is that a good or bad thing. I haven't explicitly asked for any but of the 23 chapters I have only release 6 so far. Any with experience have any thoughts on this? Do I come off as unapproachable in anyway?
