I would prefer something that takes place in a world where cooking, cleaning, and gold digging are more associated with men, while working to provide for a family and lust are more associated with women, but I'd also read a story where only the main character's relationship has reversed gender roles

Haven't seen a whole lot of stories like this where the guy doesn't immediately start screwing his sisters and gettin gangbanged or something

It just doesn't seems like a story that would work. There would be too many question that need answering. Which would make for an interesting read if the author manage to explain it.

As other have said you would probably have more luck with a BL couple where both are effeminate men. Or maybe there are story where there are only men in the world ? But then how do the baby get feed or birthed ?

I guess a story where one day all of a sudden all of the population became women or men ? That way you wouldn't have to explain how the human specie evolved/survived to that point. And maybe the endgame would be to find a way to perpetuate the human race and the relationship that ensue.

I think i recall hearing about a comics where one day all of the men disappeared and then it was only a downward slope from there. It even had a serie adaptation but it was not fidel to the original work i think ?
