If you think about it, even before writing, what set us apart from animals was the discovery of fire and the realization that meat should be cooked.

We are no longer savages eating raw meat, risking death from food poisoning or parasites.

We civilized people cook our meat making sure it is WELL DONE.

Everything that is not flavor must be 100% dead. My meat must not move on the plate.

Leave the blood to the vampires, good luck with that bloodsucker.

The best way to make a steak is the rainbow gradient where it is 0% at one end and goes all the way to 245% at the other end. This way, one can enjoy all facets of steak in one steak.
