Give me three scriptures for that.
Let everything be established in the mouth of two or three witnesses.
So give'em here.
First, I would like to point out that there are three witnesses that came to caution you.

But if you will only listen to scripture, then here.
Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” Matthew 19:21

For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.
1 Timothy 6:7-8

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
Matthew 6:19-20

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
Hebrews 13:5

As goods increase, so do those who consume them. And what benefit are they to the owners except to feast their eyes on them?
Ecclesiastes 5:11

When I fed them, they were satisfied; when they were satisfied, they became proud; then they forgot me. Hosea 13:6

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:18

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Matthew 6:21

For entertainment, I would put forth this article which uses scripture

This is not a condemnation of you, but we were questioning where your heart belongs. Enjoy your life, and remember where your satisfaction truly comes from.

The entire temptation of Jesus. Satan offers Jesus the world if He would worship him. The wicked prosper, but fail because they deny God and become to focused on this life.
Matthew 6:19-21
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

Luke 12:15
And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”

1 Timothy 6:7-10
For we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.

Yes the love of material things is wrong and evil. But who said I loved them. If a man ask for water does he love water. Colossians 2:20 - 23: Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, (Touch not; taste not; handle not; Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body: not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

Where in the scripture does it say not to ask for material things at all. Where does it say God is opposed to us having nice things in this life. If you are called to help those that are poor, what will you do it with. How can you give with nothing to give.

If God prospered Abraham and made him rich, will he not do so for me? Or has he become a respecter of persons?

James 4:2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.

Why then, if my heart is towards God to do his will and help his people, should I not ask. And if I should ask for your so called spiritual things than what are they?

Are they not the gifts given unto men, speaking in tongues, prophecies, healing, teaching, preaching, great faith that pleases God, our father? Are they not the qualities of God's character? Love, which is longsuffering, kind, does not envy or boast, is not proud, nor does it dishonor others, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no records of wrongs. Love does not rejoice at evil, it protects, it trusts, it endures all things, it hopes, and it never fails.

Can I then ask my God, who I know loves me, for a xbox and still have love within me myself. Can I not trust in his promises, which he gave plainly, and still be spiritual?

What spirituality do you speak of? Am I to be a monk, an ascetic denying all pleasure, should I live on only the bare minimum, praying only that God keeps me another day?

No! It should not be this way. Our lord is a lamb who sits upon the throne and has brought death to heel! He has made us more than conquerors! He always causes us to triumph! He is the lord of hosts! He is the one who made both the mountains and the sea! He is the one who cannot lie, for in him is no shadow, but light!

My God is not like the devil, who is a thief coming only to kill, steal, and destroy!

My lord and savior is the one who came to give us life and life more abundantly! He became poor so that we may be rich, he suffered the chastisement of his peace so that we may have peace, by his stripes were we healed, he went to the cross so that I might obtain salvation!

And the riches of this world are a fleeting thing. They won't be brought with me into heaven, I know, but neither will the clothes on my back nor the breath in my lungs.

That doesn't mean I can't have or ask for nice things.

If you were a father, and your son asked you to be him a toy, would you tell him no, he cannot have it because it will not last with him through the ages? Or do you tell him no, ask instead for a gift to change your character - something you cannot give him.

Our father is not a forcer. He presented us with the option to choose good or evil. He gave us the choice to choose what we think on. He will not change on this, for he does not change, and so he will not give us a change in character by us merely asking.

That can only come from a change in our own hearts, a choice to follow him and learn of him and be like our master. This, this is another gift, but it is one you ask to be shown, not given.

You ask for material items when you should desire spiritual ones. It is a problem we all face and must learn to best. Remember: the devil gives people riches too so that they will become to focused on this world than the next. I do not mean to deride you or your faith, if I did, I'm sorry, but always remember to prioritize the spiritual over the physical. That aside, I am glad to know you had a merry Christmas
Am not a christian and don't really want to debate about it, but I always find it funny whenever someone said bad things happen due to devil/demon.

They are not the one doing evil act/sins, humans are. Always saying it's because of devil/demon are just an easy bullshit to explain that someone was weak or couldn't control himself.

It become even more funny when you take into consideration that in ancients writing (Not necessarily the bible), demon was created by god to punish the humans for their evil deeds.
Or if you go way before the christian idea/vision of demon become know and "accepted" worldwide, the meaning of demon was not evil related thing like nowaday, but existence between god and humans with supernatural power, often serving as guardian for human.

A few months ago, I prayed to God for a game and a new Xbox. At the beginning of this month my brothers friend bought us xbox game pass ultimate and the game I prayed for had recently come to the game pass. Then, on Christmas someone bought us that new Xbox one (series S).

Anyone else have any good testimonies?

That's great and all, just remember: don't place too much value on the material. The spiritual is more important. That's all I've got to say
