So, what's got you depressed lately?

What do you want me to do about this endless teenage libido

Do you work out or play any sport?
I share your pain. And working out just makes me horny after.
Just the fact that I am basically talentless in every field and a day shall come when no matter how hard i work, i shall never be as good as others
I have a literal genius of a brother, he stole all my intelligence damn it. I was left with nothing.

I'm tall, so people just assume I play basketball. I used to, yes, but stopped.
I'd say continue playing some kind of physical sport while you're still growing by all means possible. Or just working out in general, even if you have to MacGyver some weights and equipment. It's not some kind of panacea for mental health or lack of confidence, although it does help in those areas, but it provides a focus and something you can feel solidly proud of. And if you start now, when you're fourteen? You'll actually be stronger than guys your age when they start during their twenties or thirties.

Also helps you get off that quick and easy dopamine from jerking off - that shit stacks up as you get on in years and fucks up with your head and discipline and shits up your life. Source: me. You need something you can slowly build upon, day upon day, month upon month, year upon year.

Also, no downsides to having a good looking body. I'd say "the girls will love it", but I've never seen a guy who got somewhere enviable by just chasing pussy.

Realizing that all the work I've done in the last five years has amounted to nothing has not been a fun time

Probably both anxiety and the concept of being useless. Family problems too but I got used to that I went numb and ended up wishing to get out of this house someday.

I thought I did but the failure would imply otherwise. The funny thing is that my advice works to make others successful but it did not work for me at all
ask them for their advice then. you're probably implementing something wrong. this doesn't seem like a failure, though. you have experience - you're just struggling on how to use it correctly.

Lately I've just been hearing that I should give up. I'm not ready to yet though

RL being a pain in the ass. Trying to keep things together, and then a COVID scare, or other outage. Being nervous when my host is worried about getting fired. Stuff like that.

Though, what saddens me as a writer is the dropped counter on things I write increasing. I know I'm supposed to have thick skin, and power through, and all that, but the rejection does sting a little. Ultimately, it's alright, and I'll keep powering through. I want to have written and finished.... something. Like I succeeded at NaNoWriMo, but now I have an ambition to actually finish something. But I'm scared I wont.

It's weird.
