What do you think about slow-paced stories? I do not really have a long patience myself, yet I wrote a slow-paced one hahaha. Anyway, do you find them boring? I'm currently writing a web series where the beginning part is kinda slow, so I was worried readers might drop my series right away.

depends on the premise. you can use the "show a snippet at the beginning of the future/action" to keep the adhd zoomer brains stimulated

Are the tags really that helpful? Is it something that puts the story in some sort of algorithm, or is it just there mostly for the readers to get hooked in? I'm quite new to the website, so I know little.

I see, I understand this.

It kinda feels like a slice of life that don't do a timeskip. A School Life focusing on the daily life of the student every single day

Everything depends on the quality of the writing.

Most readers stay committed if what you produce is gold.

The tags are there to show what you're story will be. MC male or female? Is MC genius, clever, awkward, playful, etc? this type of tags show what the mc will be in the story

Tags are very important. Besides showing readers what to expect, they also can increase your views. Also, proper tagging saves you from rage reviews that say you should put that or this tag.

I prefer writing slow paced ones, but I understand why the readers like fast paced ones. I am writing 2 simultaneously right now, and I haven't even shown MCs power till now

People do read tags, and build expectations from that. Tags are useful not to just invite interested readers, but to also repel readers who won't like your story, eg, you can add a "Polite Protagonist" tag and all the readers who expect the protagonist to go on a murder spree shall not disturb you(much)

Web novel writing (at least the mainstream in SH and RR) is fast paced. Don't let that stop you though. My story is slow paced and seems to be doing fine. Just that readers prefer fast paced. You're in SH though, so readers are generally chill, compared to RR where people will complain, so no worries.

This sounds tough, but good luck!

This is a tough question to answer. I like both but there would still be that chance where I skip some chapters.
