Shower Thought on Interactions Between Dimensions

We can make quite realistic illusions of the Third Dimension through Two-Dimensional means. So much so that we can trick our own minds into believing 2D objects are 3D through various mediums. Theoretically, if some hypothetical 4th Dimensional (Timelord ) being desired, could they not project similar 4D illusions into our 3D space? It is doubtful that those of us native to the Third Dimension would be able to recognize the fullness of a sufficiently complicated illusionary 4D structure, but a Fourth Dimensional being interfering with our dimension in ways similar to how we utilize the Second Dimension... The implications fascinate me. Are we considered a work of art to a higher dimension intelligence? A video game? Can they create the illusion Higher Dimensional object so real it can fool itself? Being that the 4th Dimension is Time, what does such hypothetical interference look like? Or because we experience time itself, could we consider such interference already established? Are we the product of a cosmic Author who inserted the shape of time into our plane? (insomnia is fun. )

But I wonder if a 4D entity could fit his entire body into our limited dimension...or would we lack the right senses to see him/it completely. And, also, it's perception of time. 3D objects only go forward. Can Mr. 4D look at slices of our past?

I've tried to understand and visualize this numerous times, but I always fail. What I know about 4D is that volume ( and consequently mass) becomes variable. Objects change in dimension much like how 3D objects change in 2D. The one application that comes to mind right now is teleportation.
