Yeah, memory comes back and there indeed was a tag for ever competition, but no banner. There was a special tag, though.

But those are usually only embedded into forum posts and our google forms.Yup. I think the closest to any banner would be like the contests BL Palace holds creates.

That aside, I don’t want to damp anyone’s enthusiasm, but has anyone ever held a competition or knows how it works?
Depending on the criteria to win, it can be lots of work or getting lots of bitching and cheating.

Honestly... fiction writing competitions are a great way to boost your work's popularity and build brand awareness as an author. However, I'm not interested. Why?
It's too complicated. Competition rules often force you to write stories outside your artistic vision. Writing fiction is also a matter of taste—I find it hard to write outside my style narrative. I don't want to write about a pathetic young man who gets hit by a truck just to start another fantasy story. I prefer to write fiction based on my artistic vision.
In short... you can start a fiction writing competition, but I'll just watch, eat popcorn, and drink soda while I continue writing my fiction. Good luck!
Dude... sorry, I don't want to get out of my comfort zone. I'm not your subject. LolBut that's exactly why I enjoy them; it's a challenge against creativity to go outside the comfort zone.![]()
