Yeah I did, I was pretty nervous about screwing something up, it's my first time actually publishing anything I've written, plus I wanted to know about the useful features on this site. so, I'm working on a new story. Trying my hand at an isekai, where the MC and his sister enter a new world. on their way, they meet a god-not-god, create their new bodies, etc. It's very clearly stated that they are no longer siblings, as their bodies are entirely new and unrelated. they don't have any genetic code in common, aside from the basics (they're both still human, after all).

If MC and his sister were to have a smut scene, would that still be incest, as they still have their memories, despite the different bodies? His mind still remembers her mind, even if the shell is different.

In my opinion, yes it is incest. It's like creating a loli small childish acting character and pass it off when smut cus she's 10004 years old.

Morally it's not fucked if the parents aren't there but frowned upon, and you didn't try to avoid the moral part of incest, keeping the memories means awareness and consent of another's soul. It is still a someone you saw growing up from an infant and related by heart and sibling love.

If you're going to be strictly physical, no. But incest has the mental aspect to it, which is why this bird would say "yes".

There's nothing "mental" about incest. Either they are related, or they aren't. That's it. Anything else is pointless feelings that are irrelevant to the actual facts. It isn't incest.

Technically, no. IF they no longer share a blood-relation. I'm sure some people will mention "ethics", but if they share no blood relation than they are NOT related, no matter what anyone tells you.

most otome isekai fans will feel this is incest, even if it “isn’t”. Actually one of the biggest complaints on the otome isekai reddit is stories like this. Gives a lot of people the ick
