Should I delete then re-create my novel?

Why delete it when you can just edit published chapters?

If your looking for view count, deleting a brand new story with a few chapters isn't going to change a thing.

Well if someone read the novel and didn’t like it maybe they will come back after I create? Also I got a 3 star rating and I want to get rid of that :(

Well, I got a 2 star from a guy I presume only read one or two chapters of my novel. My early chapters are chunky since I just started out but the rest of the guys who've read most of my novel rated 5 though. Just gotta learn to live with it, there will be people like that. If you know your story's good, just keep on pushing. About rewriting and stuff, just edit in your current chapters.

Dude dont re create the story just for a few people. That's insane. A 3 star rating is nothing serious either and you dont even know WHY they gave that rating. Maybe they just think your story is mediocre. You dont know. You fixed the problem. That's enough.

Also if you are going to worry about a three star rating to the point of considering re uploading the entire story due to one problem...well. maybe you shouldnt be writing then. I ain't tryna be mean, dont misunderstand. I'm just saying cuz lotta authors dont have thick enough faces and get all depressed over the littlest shit and I dont want you to get all down yourself if you also cant take a bit of hate and end up just quit writing due to it

Cuz you can bet your left nut some asshole is gonna tear your story down just on principle. It happens to everyone. The fuckers. Gotta hate for no reason.

The first low-rating I received in my story was a 2-star, then a 1-star and followed by a flurry of 2-stars. Someone even gave me a 3-star because of some misunderstanding in one aspect of my story.

It felt bad and discouraging, but well, this is the world of literature. It's either we give up or hunker down and go through with it. If ever it felt too much, you can always log-off for the meantime and wait for your emotions to cool down. Just don't give the naysayers the benefit of deleting your work altogether. You can always edit and correct it, but when you've written something, stand with your work. (I learned this through experience...)

So earlier today I released a couple chapters under the novel “The Dimensional Traveler” quick ad: https://www.scribblehub.com/series/191347/the-dimensional-traveler/ And I wrote it sort of... wrong I guess? Ive edited everything to flow more smoothly so it should be a much more enjoyable read hopefully... anyway should I delete it the. Create it again but with the edited chapters to start?
I haven't read your novel but looking at your stats I think you are doing great. To be honest ,I feel it would be a waste to delete it and leave the ones reading it on the air. That is because accumulation has a quality on its own (of both readers and chapters). Besides, so long you go back from time to time and fix what you feel needs fixing, it would mean you are getting better.
In any case, I hope this helps and you continue writing, whether you choose to go with that one as it is or from zero.
