Just use ults on support so they get snatched first and then use dps and dot to free them. I saw my gf fighting it and it looked quite straightforward even with her undergeared underleveled team.

First, I have no DoTs built. (Nihility path might fix it though) Second, my team is 2 support/dps/sustain. There is no spot for a dot. 3rd, remember I’m playing difficulty 3, so the boss has over 150k hp/phase (edit: it’s actually ~160k) and a 20% resistance to the damage I’m dealing and can’t be weakness broken since I’m missing the types. Also, if you can find a way to deal with missing 3 team members at once, do tell me. Also also, damage. Again. This thing does blast attacks for all its normal attacks and will kill anyone on my team within 4-6 hits. Then that's why I said that I shouldn't have issues with this boss and why it's easy for me. There's so many ways you can mix and match stuff that it's no surprise that what person is struggling the other isn't. I wasn't trying to say that skill issue or something, sorry if I sounded this way.

You’re in the early game. As long as you don’t level every single character, it doesn’t matter. In terms of late game, few play any 4-star for DPS except for a few at e6 like QQ. Go with Ratio if you care enough, otherwise build whoever you want.
From experience, if I had to choose between the two I'd build Dan Heng. I was really unimpressed with Dr. Ratio. People say he's good, but I noticed to have polar opposite opinion from the general crowd regarding who's strong and who's weak, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Imho Dan Heng is more versatile and pretty much doesn't require any set up to be useful.
He’s strong if you have debuffs on enemies. Also, he’s got better multipliers as a 5*. Anyways, early game doesn’t matter. (Although, the question was who is better, and objectively speaking, Ratio is.)
Asta is very good from what I’ve heard, Lynx is great from experience, March is fine for early game and good for cheese in late game, Fire MC is good, and Herta is okay, but only really good in pure fiction (Another gamemode)
Matcha just started and he's a f2p. No character that good but only under certain conditions is going to be good for him. If you're strictly f2p you have to build for utility, because you won't have characters or recourses to swap to when your conditionally good character doesn't meet conditions. Before he gets to worry about late game, he has to cover early game. And he's missing out on Acheron, who is a life saver for new players who don't have entire army of build characters for every single weakness.
