Did you know that according to some documents, the Soviet Union never ceased to exist? Although this is not entirely true - after its collapse, the USSR was restored on paper and in a different composition, it was just not particularly advertised. Only tangentially by being in a shared universe, though there is Welt being obviously hinted to be the one from the previous game. Mihoyo loves to reuse characters from previous games, so I wouldn't bank on HSR Bronya being related to HI3 Bronya and the like. HI3 is too grindy and there's years of content to catch up on for new players, and there's competitive gamemodes so you're incentivized to play the META (For reference, your starter Valks are literally incapable of clearing late game content no matter how you build them) Personally don't like it.

Also, because the references seem negligible from what you say, and the character you mentioned (Bronya) doesn't interest me. Grindy and Meta are the two words that immediately make me realize it's not for me. I'm more Lazy and Janky. That's why I can't stand PVP anymore, now I prefer single player PVE.
