It might be called coriander where you are~
It supposedly has an acidic taste if I remember right~ (you can google it) but to some people like Danny and I it tastes like soap or various other disgusting things~

I have read, though, that the smell is reminiscent of the green shield bug. I hate that insect... disgusting.

Yep I like walking and living in Europe I have no need for a car, so whenever possible I'm walking. In the summer I will often put on earbuds and just wander around for hours listening to music

Ew bugs... As for the smell I discovered that I have extremely violent reaction to cumin. The smell to me is absolutely the worst. Smells like rotting corpses for me. I just can't handle it, even more than cilantro.

Coriander and cilantro are different, and I only know that because I used coriander seeds in a lentil burger recipe long ago~

Way different...

As for cilantro's uses, it is mainly used in Spanish dishes like tacos, enchiladas, salsa, etc. It is basically a garnish meant to improve the flavor~

As for the taste, I think @Azure_Fog got it down~
