@Sleds @BouncyCactus Isn't this Hera? Not Aphrodite? The one with the asshole, lusty hubby Zeus is Hera.
Though, actually, Aphrodite is pretty terrible too. She cheated on her husband Hephaestus for Ares because he was ugly to her eyes, and was a disabled person. Though, honestly, I don't remember how she became the bride of Hephaestus. I don't think that has ever come to my attention. There may be some distinguishing circumstances.

Oof. Actually, I looked it up just now. Zeus just hastily married her to Hephaestus as a slap-shod way of preventing the other gods from fighting for the sake of her love. She got dealt a raw deal with that. No wonder she cheated on Hephaestus. Who she wanted didn't even factor into who she married in the first place. Still think some of the reasoning in-mythos was pretty crappy. She could have handled it better, but I am sure she was bitter as fuck from having her choice taken from her.
