I think I'll look this time
As you gaze into the abyss of the coffee, you notice everything around you is… odd.
A bit of red outlines things here, blue there, and some green over there.
You hear a cracking noise as static fills your ears.
Reality itself starts glitching, changing materials and growing into shapes fitting of the fourth dimension.
Each change causes a flash of glitchiness and soon you see cracks forming everywhere.
Fragments of reality cease to be and all you can see beyond is a starry void, fractal patterns stretched throughout.
Seeing the foundations of mortal reality break, you hurriedly lift the mug of coffee to your lips, tipping it back.
A drops crosses the threshold of the mug.
Everything stops.
Time itself seems frozen, and the floating drop sits there.
It collapses inwards, causing an explosion that would dwarf the greatest supernovae.
The shockwave from such a force burns away all traces of reality, leaving a white void.
The void however, cannot withstand the force of this power—It shatters, along with you.
Though you are gone, wiped from reality, a black hole forms out of that drop of coffee, consuming the remainder of that universe.
In some untold amount of time, it too, will fade away, leaving nothing in its trace.
