Would it somehow be possible to create a shared universe link that connects three of my stories (Slime Girl, Formicea, Arachne) to the one a friend of mine is going to post in the near future (Current name Fairytale)?
I'd like either a link as an exception or have the groundwork for a feature to create a link if the other party accepts, please, as currently I can only link my own stories.

I already posted this in the author forum but didn't really get a satisfying reply.
I have a bit of a collaboration with another author who currently works on a story that plays in the same world as three of mine.
Those three are all going rather well and I think it would be great if we could make a shared universe link so the readers know it's playing the same world.
I read the story and we both agreed that this would be nice to have.
While the rights to the universe as a whole itself would remain with me, he has my explicit permission to post the story under his own name and profile page.
Sure we could simply shout out, but I don't think that would work even half as well.

I hope it's fine to raise this question here and that I'm not too brazen to ask.

Can't see that happening. Too much work on Tony's end for something that almost nobody will ever use.

Not to mention the system itself would probably require some extra prompts from both authors to like, get confirmation that the shared universe was actually agreed upon...

It's just not happening.

Okay, but would it be possible as an exception? In theory, it's just putting the link at the same place where those of my own making would go, or am I wrong?

I can't imagine seeing Tony add a system that allows this kind of exception. Sounds like way too much trouble for too little benefit.

It's up to Tony though. All those things are handled by him.

My suggestion to you would be simply linking to your friend's story in your own story's description.

Did your friend first ask you to write in your universe? Cause it's seem a loss for him to not have copyright.

For the linked universe, you can have it said in the synopsis and the end of it : This story share the same universe as ........ and you can sometime add the link for other stories in your chapter at the end.

You can even have some information about it in your own story, for exemple, having a news about a planet/galaxy far away that the mc in your friend story is, to introduce him to your reader and make it a part of your universe.

Basically, yes.
I wrote the first 20 chapters of it, but have absolutely not the time to regularly release that one as well.
So it was nice that I could at least send it someone instead of letting it rot away.
They asked if they could write on it and I agreed since it's nice to have anything to happen to it instead of "see line above".
As they put in a huge amount of effort on it I think it's just fair to let them release it themselves.

I'd really like to maintain the connection to the world. We even started a map of the continent they all play on.
I'll probably do a shout out and refer to it in the chapters and on the profile page, but it's much more indirect this way as I'd like it to be.
