There is a setting in one's profile where one can stop people from replying on it.

This has nothing to do with the Ignore function. When you ignore someone, you just stop seeing posts from that person. The ignored person doesn't get any signs that they were ignored.

Anon just used the profile setting to stop people from posting on their profile.
