My FMC only has average-sized booba!
So do two of mine, for that matter, though Kelly designed her Sparrow costume to "overcome this limitation," as she, as a high-powered marketing type, knows how well sex sells (and used to be go a bit overboard on it, until she died and a male Kelly took over her body, since he died at the same time). [Strange Awakening]

Dane Coleman [Digital Cowboy] was a man whose sense of morality often overcame any other sense. This led him into the Marines and got him a dishonorable discharge from the Marines ... and landed him on Death Row, where he was executed for his crimes. And was very much surprised to wake up somewhere else entirely - not prison, not Heaven, not Hell but a variant Wild West were the Civil War ended in a stalemate. Oh, and he now has a System.

David West was an archetypical "successful nerd" - had a good job as a UI developer, who played wargames and role-playing games in his spare time, and thought he was content with that life until a woman (the other average-breasted FMC alluded to above) from the game world showed up in his world, and unlocked magical powers in him that he never imagined existed outside of the game. [Between Worlds]

Jack Diamond was saddled with an unfortunate name by a dad who loved the cards a bit too much (and definitely more than he loved his wife or son) and a mom who was not all that bright. He tried to be a cop for a while, but politics got him in trouble there. Now he works as a PI, but really just wants nothing more than a good bottle of Scotch and his girlfriend - if only these pesky monsters didn't keep gettign involved in his life or the lives of his clients... [Diamond in the Rough, Blood Diamond]

Nathan Daniels likes solving mysteries, but the one that he can never quite get the clues he needs to solve is exactly who and what he really is [True Blue]

I suck at selling but I'll give it a try.

Nina is just an ordinary teenage girl, physically weak and without powers. She's a priestess of their religion, and sometimes it gets into her head. She has a knack for reading and always strives to learn more about the world around her. She's smart, but naive, and still has a lot to learn. She's slightly arrogant but with a giving heart, and even though she's cowardly and frail, she's deadset on helping others. She'll have to resort to her wits during her journey to survive.

Here's a pic drawn by yours truly. ?

i shouldn't be even replying since i don't write anymore. That aside mc was raised by an alien surviving in poverty till his teens as a starship mechanic apprentice. imagine being lied about your race and forced silence of his origins to never utter a word his species. Lead to him actually finding something that had a trail to Eden prime probably the last lead of human civilization in the frontier galaxy. with a yearning mc ventures to find something or someone or anything that fill the void of loneliness in him

I'm tired of the same old questions about selling your stories. Sell me on your main character! Tell me why I should care about your main character and what makes them stand out as an interesting person to read about.
MC is a chill character who actually loves her transmigration jobs and doesn't mind doing morally devious things as long as it does the job but is very self aware and kind of a drama queen.

Idk that's all I got

Henry Rider comes from a race of people who feed on human laughter. Joy is actually part of their DNA. But somehow, she's ended up with the saddest job in the world. If a klaon forcibly feeds on someone's laughter, they turn into a maiam, and as the Hunter it's Henry's job to slay maiams before they can hurt anyone. It's a necessary evil, but it doesn't change the fact that when people look at this awkward, lonely fifteen year old girl with a boy's name they see the one who might someday kill their friends, family members, or even themselves. Henry pretends it doesn't bother her, but on the inside she's a big ball of low self-esteem and imposter syndromes. She clings desperately to her friends out of an unspoken assumption that they'll leave her someday, and has a habit of bringing home what her adopted brother calls "stray puppies" as a way to make her social circle a little bigger (ironically, her brother was one of those stray puppies). She talks big without actually believing a word of it, and is constantly telling jokes to try and convince people shes okay, which is ironic because she really is an amazing and capable fighter. She just needs someone to help her see it.

First novel. Bright silly girl who is thankful for the little things in life. Likes crafting, yummy food, talking to herself.
In severe denial pretending everything is ok.

Second novel. Hot rich sarcastic dude who is obsessed with his best friend. Would do anything for their love, and I mean anything.
Also in severe denial pretending everything is ok.

A school teacher who comes from a rich family but rejects it due to a horrible family dynamic.

years later, she learns there's more to her parents aloof ambivalent nature when she discovers that she's part demon.

What follows is her psychological descent towards that same cruelty as she struggles to retain a semblance of her ideals. None of it being easy when confronted with an ever encroaching nature that is as intoxicating to embrace as it is, objectively, evil.

My MC is a time-traveling twenty-three-hundred-year-old
genie
who wants nothing more than to raise her her half human, half
genie
son.

She's acquired a great deal of wisdom over the course of twenty-three hundred years. How do her experiences across the centuries impact her?

My stories are character studies.

Ai-chan can't believe Ai-chan never replied to this thread. So here goes.

At 16, Carl is beginning his first day of upper secondary school, not that he cares. Apathetic, pragmatic, and emotionally detached, he has little interest in helping others unless doing so aligns with his own survival or logic. Though calm under pressure, his disinterest in social niceties makes him seem cold or indifferent to those around him.

Thanks to his years as a police cadet, he's trained in martial arts, marksmanship, and survival tactics. Physically capable and mentally sharp, he navigates chaos with unnerving composure. Unfortunately, he's tone-deaf, making any involvement in school performances or music classes a personal nightmare, and a source of endless amusement for his peers.

He deeply loves his family, especially his older sister, in the way that involves sexual relations. Their relationship was once playful, even flirtatious in the way siblings sometimes push boundaries without crossing them. Both of them wanting the same thing, but both of them understood that what they want must only remain in fantasies. But when society collapses after the Transference Event, that sibling bond becomes dangerously co-dependent.

Isolated, hunted, and unsure who to trust, the two grow increasingly possessive of one another, not out of lust, but desperation, grief, and the need to cling to the only person left who understands. As their world devolves into violence and survival, they must confront not just the monsters outside, but the emotional instability growing between them. And who knows when they will finally do the unthinkable.

The MC leeches off power from the people he targets so he comes off as the most selfless person around, just trying to uplift everyone even though he is the one benefitting the most.
Also, he likes to think he is a manipulator and that he is just using the people he targets but he inadvertently becomes attached to them and ends up taking care of them.

An ordinary 15 year old gaming fire powers. Became the leader of the team because they didn’t want to, but before they decided that for him he barked orders. Unsure of the responsibility thrusted upon. Gets angry when someone threatens his family. Tries to do the best he can in a situation. Is currently clueless about his feelings for a girl. She is also clueless.

Jethro isn’t a chosen one. He’s not a swordsman or a sorcerer. He’s a factory worker who escaped a brutal, crumbling city. His magic grows by binding lovers to him through pleasure, not force. He’s flawed, but evolving.

I don't often write out his backstory, but here goes:

Jurao is the son of two famous beast hunters - a nomadic people of the Demon Realm that hunt the most dangerous animals in the realm both to keep them from overrunning settlements and to provide the extra meat and pelts to settlements, particularly small villages outside of the large cities. His mothers died when he was young, and he was sent to live with his aunt, a blacksmith in the Demon King's Castle.

While he apprenticed under her, Jurao wanted a way to be closer to his mothers - so when he became an adult, he joined the army. His aunt, who stopped making weapons after a falling out with her sister, made him a pair of swords to match the sword style of his beast hunter family - as a sign of her blessing. His extreme skill in combat soon won him an officership, which also earned him the lowest rank of nobility in the Demon King's court, as is traditional.

Jurao soon became the clear intended successor of the Demon General of the time, and after he took over the position, became the first Demon General to never be defeated by the human Champions - summoned from another world, and sent by the Empire due to ancient conflicts. He formed a close friendship with the Demon King - and was nominated to be King Ergirri's successor by the man himself. He won the tournament known as the Royal Trials, giving him access to the Thousand Caves of Torment - which he also overcame, and gained the Greater Blessing of Ascension from the demon God of Kings Maenscul - increasing his already impressive physical abilities tenfold.

By kingdom charter, the cities of the United Demon Realm - the main hubs of their society in a hostile landscape of carnivorous plants and dangerous animals - have the right to declare intent to cede when a new King takes the throne. Several did - some thinking Jurao's military background would make him a militant King during a time of long peace, and others opposing his common background. Others, however, abstained for the same background - as beast hunters and blacksmiths are the two oldest and most respected professions in the realm. And Jurao's other half of his family are one of the famous families of the city of blacksmiths - preventing that city from declaring intent when they normally would have.

To successfully cede, a city must hold out for ten days during a siege by the Demon King. Jurao traveled the realm, and defeated each city within a day - save one, which took two. And when he returned after the thirty years it took, he found the castle gardens had a secret caretaker.

Jurao is very autistic. He speaks so monotone that he fails to put the proper enunciation on questions, and expresses extremely little through facial expressions. Combined with his large size as a trollish demon, reputation as the "Beast of the Battlefield", and being a solid slab of muscle, many found him intimidating and hard to approach... until he took seventy years to pick his department heads, who serve as his inner circle of advisors. He took the time to attend meetings in every department, and even smaller branch meetings. He conducted interviews with not just those looking to fill the positions and the current department heads, but the current branch heads and staff members, wanting to ensure he chose the best people for each position regardless of rank. This careful and considerate approach made most of the castle staff see him with more respect and less fear, though the noble court did not think much of it.

In this same manner, when he heard out Braelin the human gardener that had been caring for the castle gardens for the past decade, he made the man the new Royal Gardener so he could continue his good work with proper backing. He didn't consider how the court would react - as his department heads and singular valet - his best friend since childhood, Feyl - handled the court on his behalf even though he had only been appointed for a century, and he had little direct involvement as General. A very short time for the long-lived demon species.

Jurao is over 1500 years old - the demon equivalent of his forties. He's curious, which may be the influence of his patron deity, Nosu - the Deity of Wisdom. Demon patrons are determined by the circumstances of one's birth - in Jurao's case, being born outside of a settlement or camp at night, due to Nosu being seen as the smaller green moon. He practices lockpicking - picked up during his time as a blacksmith apprentice - as a hobby, with his aunt gifting him new complex novelty locks once a decade to try and stump him. He's introspective and often quiet - sometimes, I realize I've written an entire conversation without him saying a word as he just listens and thinks.

Jurao has also never been romantically or sexually interested in other people - which leads into the plot of the slice-of-life romantic comedy he's the main character of, which his backstory clearly matches completely flawlessly.

Bonus fun fact - when he was a kid he heard a story about silver fish eating certain metals and becoming dragons, so he spent almost a century feeding any silver fish he saw various minerals to see if one would turn into a dragon. (Spoilers: this is not a thing.)

40+ year old IT guy, transported to another world, discarded to a desert Temple by vain "Guardians" who wanted young, good looking Heroes. However they didn't know he was also a 12 year veteran of the US Army. Sarcastic, irreverent and even though over weight, still dangerous.

"There is no more sacred and powerful than the one who protects children."

My MC is a four-year-old dragon betrayed by humans, reincarnated by the Gods and Goddesses into an embryo of an orphan merchant, in the hope of changing her heart full of revenge.

I believe our children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way... I'm sorry, I'll stop from here. :blobreading:
