If you earn four times the average salary, do NOT waste that on the prestige of a degree. Not yet. You're still young, you can go to college later.

Use that money to invest in your safety net! Have savings in the bank, if there are things you could buy that'll let your family be better economically positioned then get those, look into investments. Once you've done that, then going to college, even if it's expensive, will not be a risk in the way it currently is.

Alfir, if you were US based and writing sci-fi I would suspect the big sci-fi writers workshop would make more sense than a generic creative writing workshop that doesn't address or respect the genre. https://clarion.ucsd.edu/

---

Look at local improv classes - I read a convincing account by a writer that they're good for building writing skills. Maybe also work through "the scriptwriter's bible".

---

Find good test readers who can give deep useful criticisms. Maybe work through these writers and find the discords/on line social stuff they use.

Also try local scifi/fantasy conventions and meet-ups.

---

Regarding an accounting degree, I don't know, but if it is possible to do as a part time 20-30h/week job the financial stability might prevent a precarious and painful living situation.
