No one was saying it was too far in any capacity.
Some people found it sexual, some people didn't.
There weren't really any insecurities involved when someone found it sexual, it was just what they found.

The main issue was the person who didn't find it sexual accused the one who did of projecting.
Accusing people of projecting is an attack, and thus there was an argument.
Then the person who attacked wanted to pretend like nothing happened.

For the most part, the original argument had nothing to it.

Its not an accusation. This isnt a crime we're talking about. Its a logical fallacy in someones statement.

So no its not an attack. Use the right words, maybe?

If it is true, I think the whole argument grew from people using sexual and sexy interchangeably. I don't know what goes on in RR mods' heads, but I have a feeling some peeps here used it interchangeably. Because the cover is definetely sexy and sexually attractive. Which I think is the problem people pointed out, but I am not sure.

And they started a bunch of drama over it, then blamed me, called me insufferable ect. Now they dont want anyone to look into it any futher because you'll realize it too.

Based on the definition of projection that you provided, one has to be insecure in their position.

Saying someone is projecting, is therefore your way of projecting your insecurity that someone might have a different opinion that is valid.
If you can graciously accept that you're projecting, then I can agree you never accused/attacked anyone.
