Whenever someone approached me and told me they wanted to be my friend or if I approached them with the intention to be their friend, I can not bring myself to further my relationship with them more than being friends.

If I come to them or if they told me they are interested in me, then I at least assigned them the role as "lover candidate".

So if they announced they wanted to be in my friendzone or if I considered their approach to be reaching my friend zone, they never get out of there.

Somehow, my initial assignment dictated my relationship with people quite dominantly. Are you the same?

For me? I just let the course of events to determine if I really wanted to be friends/lovers with a person.

I love to marry, so I'm kinda meticulous in this one. I don't want for both of us to suffer the consequences of a hurried decision.

For friends, two strikes, and I'll leave. I've been in that place where I tried to accomodate everyone. I got abused in the end, so I'm more careful now.

I have never seen anyone approach someone else with the explicit intention of being friends tbh.

If I get close to someone, then it happened. It's usually a pretty natural process... If it ends up leading to becoming lovers, then it did... If it didn't, then it didn't~

You have friends how does it feel like.

Across my short lifespan i only have one or two friend at a time. ALWAYS one or two at a time.

I just let it happen rather than assigning people into roles, just not who i am. Which is kind of the reason why i'm the one to get abused in a relation ship but eh whatever.

Unobserved, a friend is in a quantum state of simultaneously being your bae and a nefarious top 10 anime betrayer.

Look, labels like friend and lover are projection on orthogonal basis of a complex object (your bond with someone). Yes, they simplify how you deal with reality, and facilitates how you navigate your interaction with your people. But it might turn out that relationships are more complex than a boolean and your model might fail you someday when it can't cope with the chaotic human mind.

Friend? Lover? Please, I only segregate ppl between waifu and not-waifu.

But yep first impressions are important, and I know it's hard for ppl to go past it so you're not alone

I just talk to people and if we get along then we usually just become friends right there. Maybe they'll ask to hang out again or something will happen to make us see each other again. People become friends with simple bonds. That said, there is no reason why it has to be more than that if you aren't comfortable with it. However, that doesn't mean that you should limit yourself to your initial thoughts because you won't grow otherwise. Though that's just my personal thoughts on it. I don't know about the lover thing as no one has ever approached me, nor have I seen anyone in that light as of yet.

Hmmm… can I be a lover candidate? Let’s see how this works.

When I'm interested in a girl, I always make my intentions clear from the start. I have been rejected many times, but I have never been friendzoned.

First impressions are really important. I have been told that a girl decides in the first few seconds if she's attracted to someone. So make those first impressions good boys.

There are women who fall into the friendzone for me too. These are usually girls who have dated my friends, or my friends sister. Bro code tip - dont fuck your friends sisters or ex's if you wanna stay friends.

I also friendzone girls i find unattractive. Its sad, but i just aint interested in some of ya, so ya gotta be in the friendzone. Its fine, the frienzone is a cool place for girls, youll have some guy connections, like if your altenator goes out in your car youll know a guy. Youll also get invited (if youre cool) to guy adventures, like sporting events and outdoor shit.
