Hello folks!

To put it simply, this is my thread to review other people's stories by request.

I like to be a busy person so just looking for something additional to do.

I will review the first few chapters of the story (between 3 to 5) and base my opinion on how easy it is to get into the story. I don't tend to be harsh with my reviewing but I can be a little blunt. While I have never reviewed anything on Scribblehub before, you can see examples of my review style on Novelupdates (yes, I am L8rose on there too).

If these are the main identifiers, I will not review:
  • Modern
    • Kind of ties to Slice of Life. If there is nothing else to the story but a modern retelling of something, I will pass. I don't care if it's the Fellowship set in Downtown Manhatten (They're taking the hobbits to Iowa!) or Cersei is about to blow up New York... I have zero interest.
  • Romance
    • Hetero, GL, BL, Pods, Harem, etc. I won't review if this is the main genre of the story. If the sole point is just how Character A gets into whoever's pants, then I'll pass. Exceptions are things like Regression with a side of Revenge. Or Transmigration into another world. Or... you get the point.
  • School Life
    • I have done way too much college to want to read about school. Ever.
  • Slice of Life
    • I will review SoL if it is set in a non-modern setting. Show me peasant life in the 1500s and I will definitely review (and probably favorite if I'm to be honest) but modern SoL is just not my thing.
  • Smut
    • I have no problem with reading smut but generally, there isn't much to review other than "Oh, uh... sex writing is good?" which feels weird TBH.
  • Sports
    • I don't like sports. Sorry.

All I need is a link and a brief explanation of the story.

My most popular story, Strange Awakening, may violate some of your rules but my other two should not (though Between Worlds does have a lot of romance subplots going on, and a lot of slice of life stuff, those are not the focal points). Feel free to check out any one of mine (or, if you're a masochist, any two or all three) in my sig (if you're on Mobile then say something and I'll edit to have links here as sigs don't show on mobile)

Not sure if you want but I have a complete story that has more than 500 chapters. It's my first novel so it's not that amazing, so I want you to read it just to make you suffer.

Sure, let me know what you think about my story. Although it's of the isekai genre, I assure you it doesn't violate any of your rules. It's about a guy getting transported into a world where the only goal is to kill millions and even billions of monsters surrounding him at every corner.

Can you read mine? Though it has romance tags, it's mostly SoL in a fantasy world starting as a newborn child and the progression is kind of slow. Too slow, in fact.

Aura (link in the signature) is a story about a vigilante quitting and trying to live a normal life, free from all the worries that his previous life brought him.

Problem is, being a vigilante was the only thing he really had since an incident that happened 9 years ago. But since that fire had been snuffed out his outlook on life has been embolded by a feeling of gray somberness.

With his new job, the past once agains rears its head, as he's forced to make a choice between turning the other way, or picking up the mask again.

I have a supernatural time travel story with thriller elements set in the late 1800s. Would you mind giving it your thoughts?

Thank you for the kind offer.

If this is okay, I would like to know why this story is bad:

https://www.scribblehub.com/series/1042505/hordedoom/

No need to sugarcoat your words; I am seeking to learn and improve, and knowing why my writing sucks can (maybe), help with that.

The prologue is about a created mutant trying to escape from a lab, while the main story follows the tribe formed by that mutant as they try to fit into a world that is slowly becoming more civilized after an apocalypse, and how traditions, mistrust, and a misguided sense of duty often stand in their way.

Hi there. I would be so grateful if you could review my story. Here's the premise:

So the story revolves around twin protagonists, Hiroshi and Amaye Karugame, who are witches living isolated in the woods with their parents for reasons they don't know. When the time came that they would be allowed to go out on their 15th birthday, they woke up to find their parents turned to stone and their home destroyed, and not yet powerful enough to free their parents themselves, set forth to the world beyond the walls of their home to find the means to save them. Here's the link below, and I suggest you read the glossary page first to better understand the story as a whole. Thanks in advance.
