Removing troll reviews?

I'm not the kind of author who throws a tantrum about negative reviews. It comes with the territory. That being said, a certain someone left a negative review on Skinwalkers before I saw his thread and was able to block him. This certain someone recently caused a stir here in the forums for giving close to 100 stories 1 and 2 star reviews in only 4 days and then whining when people started preemptively blocking him. Even the mods are calling him a troll. I've reported the review, but nothing's been done. All of my books combined only have two reviews (this one and one other) so this is going to have a huge impact on my ratings. What are the chances this review will actually get taken down?

A reminder to everyone, you have the power to eliminate 1-star ranks from books you love to read, by being kind and giving a 5-star rank to it if you haven't already. Let's not let one idiot, jealous as hell of all our talent, rock the boat. ?

Dont be part of the problem, give it a proper rating instead of a hollow 5star.

I am curious to see what those 100 reviews looked like. Since I only see one, I assume the others were taken down.

I wondered about that too. Either he left this review after all the others got deleted, or for whatever reason the mods decided this was the only story he reviewed that deserved the low rating.

...it's the first one, right? RIGHT?!

The reviewer also visited my novel (based on recent visitor statistics). I was initially surprised to receive a 1 rating. Then, a few moments later, the rating changed to 2. Finally, the rating disappeared. From what I've seen, the reviewer only read one chapter of the prologue before rating it. I don't mind the 1 rating. But please at least explain why my novel deserves a 1 out of 5 rating.

Besides, what part of "love to read" did you not get?
You can get angry all you want to, but you shouldn't scold me for being in the right. ?

Even if it doesn't get taken down, everyone who sees his profile will know what kind of person he is.

They were.
And it's not exactly special. Tony might have just missed it, too.
If the person was spamming bad reviews, I would push for them to be removed, but I am hesitant to do so here.
Because -
- We may disagree with it, but that's not the point. The staff is not there to police people's opinions.
- I don't think it is impacting your rating, so I am less inclined to bring it up.

Sorry. I might be in the wrong, and it might be unpleasant for you, but I am not here to police what others might think or say about other people's stories if it is within bounds of reason. And I think this one is.
