My name is the name of a flower. I bet neither of my parents would even recognize that flower if it jumped in their faces. I know the name was quite popular in birth year, so there's that.
It's not like I hate it, but I don't like using it, because I have a lot of bad memories with that name attached. So I usually use my standard Nickname in private settings.
That last bit might be confusing. I'm not going by TheKillingAlice. My pen name is T.K. Alice, short for this nickname, and derived from that Tikky. I usually go by Tikky.
