When I first started my series, I posted in the thread by Hathnuz who predicted (scarily accurately) that I will get 100-150 readers by chapter 30...well, I reached 150 readers on chapter 34 so fair game lmao. Looks like his thread is somewhat dead now tho

Its mainly because of how people see your novel that they can give an accurate estimation on the reader count or viewers.
