I mean the interest is insanely high, i realize that most gender bender stories are usually atleast 1:1 with their chapter and view (like 10k view with 10 chapter for an example), so I'll just make one myself and yup it didn't disappoint

I wish more people had the guts to write straight out BL or make the character the gender from the start. BL with boobs is not really BL, you know?

Not keen to read half of the book and desperately searching for some significant use of the genderbender except it being some kind of MacGuffin.

Nice cards! Love the design. Feels like a visual novel. Did you draw that?

Gender bender is actually a good genre if and only if it explores gender change, especially its psychological and social implications, without being bogged down in romance. Imagine a macho man, who used to laugh at women being sensitive during their periods, transforming into a girl experiencing a monthly cycle. That would be both hilarious and ironic.

Unfortunately, gender bender is now more of a label than a genre. Even cliché romances are labeled gender bender simply to attract an audience. I just wish this genre would be returned to its original function. I used to read gender benders to empathize with gender. If it's just going to be a cliché romance, I'd rather read shoujo/josei.

Of course, this is just my personal opinion as a reader; I respect the creative freedom of other authors.
