Question for non native English

Question for non native english.

Do you write your story directly in english or do you write first in your native language then translate it to english?

And how deal with grammar, tense or other sentence structure?

As someone that grow in country where the main language doesnt really care about languange structure and learn english myself from reading and rarely speaking or writing i always feel that i doesnt have a capabilty to write a good sentence structure or in natural way.

Any tips to improve my english writing skill? Like maybe learn this part first the that part.

Since I went to an english medium school my whole life (And also it is required by society law to study english as a secondary language). I never had a problem with speaking or even writing english.

If you want to learn more about grammar, I suggest reading some class 5 > 6 english textbooks.
Or if you want to improve your english writing skills, those should also be included in the textbooks.
Primarly you would want to start from the beginning (Or close to it) and progress on from there.

I write directly in English and it makes me feel like i write way too less of what i actually want to convey, but you shouldn't let it demotivate you. And I feel it getting better the more I continue to write directly in English.

And if you're perhaps more of a perfectionist type while writing, you should let that go. We non native English learners often dwell to much at grammar rules and most of my native english friends says the "message" I want to give while talking or writing is clear anyway and they/natives are even not that much diligent on their grammar rules in the first place.

So... Don't let it demotivate you and keep writing! The process will eventually do its work ?
