I have a list of things to hit each chapter then I write a draft, then I edit and add stuff but as I become a better author I'm moving towards having to edit less. So I would say I'm moving from second to first but at second pace

Here's how I write. I plan the specific points, but bullshit along the way. I'll plan destinations A, F, and Z, but sometimes to get to F I'll do ACEBF instead of ABCDEF.

I don't do any of that fancy stuff, I just write. Once in a while I'll delete a bit that I wrote to rewrite it better, but >90% of the time, I just write the whole chapter straight in one go, then have someone else edit it, and they barely find anything to change. My main challenge is actually managing to write due to my brain hating me.

I am trying out a new technique, that is called cycling. So, you write 500 words, and then go back 500 words, and begin to fill in more content before what you wrote. I rather like it. It takes the stress off the need to have the perfect chapter setting beginning. I mean, you can write the scene that you see before your eyes, and then go back 500 words, and set it up.

nowadays i prefer to just write them all down however i want, at my own pace.

maybe only publish the finished ones after some edits.

that way, i can just drop them when i didn't feel like it without disappointing anyone and not having to force myself to write stuff to the end.

How do you guys write?

Do you guys write the whole chapter, and make all the lines and the synonyms, the romance, the meanings, all the things at the same time while writing the novel

Or

You guys just write whatever comes to your mind and then after the chapter is done, you open the page once again and start reading it again and changing all the lines, making them more readable, more relatable, more experienced, and changing words to more attractive words.

Tell me which one do you do?
There's a difference when writing a novel. You can write whatever you want in it. But then there's a time to also think of revising it after you're done with it so that when you re-read it again you can make corrections and edits and make it better. That's the same with a book. When you read a story for the first time you may not like something about it or some things aren't relatable for you. But when you read it again you can make changes and fix it to make it better. book writer's gonna have to revise and edit the book they have wrote before reading it for the last time. And that's what you can do with your writings.
