Question about 'Fates Parallel'

So I am really enjoying it so far but the more I read the more worried I get about the relationship between Jia and Eui. The reason I started reading it was because I was looking for a GL cultivation novel and needless to say, the GL part is important. I am worried that they won't actually end up together (part of me thinks Jia might be aromantic) or they will break up or one will die etc. by the ending. I try to ignore it but a part of my mind constantly brings up these concerns so I am unable to fully enjoy reading it. So can someone clear up these questions I previously mentioned, but to reiterate:

1) Are they dating yet and if not, when do you think they will?
2) The novel is still on going so you cannot answer with certainty but with the direction in which the novel is going, do you think the two will still being dating and alive by the ending?
3) Does anyone use an instrument as a weapon, the person who recommended me this novel mentioned someone did but no one has yet so I was wondering if someone actually did and if so who and what instrument?

Vol2 Chapter 4, so not very far at all. Also just got told something about the third question - no one uses a weapon, it was my misunderstanding
