I'm a new writer. I've written a webnovel with 3-4 chapters but when I searched it, it can't be found. Is it because it is being checked by the authorities of this site. And how long might it take to get the green light for my novel

If it is your own work, not AI written, not a translation, and does not violate any guidelines, it can take up to 48 hours to be approved (but usually takes about a day).

Did your novel pass moderation at all? Because it doesn't show up on your profile yet either. Also, it can take up to 48 hours.

I see an em-dash I see? I smell AI.

Edit: I hope AI gains sentience, and is granted personhood, if only so that the AI gets any revenue from all these AI stories, rather than the people who keep asking it to write mediocre stuff.

That would be weird, since AI "creates" by taking existing material (stuff written by people, likely some of them paid) to assemble its slop.
How will I know if I've passed the moderation? Will I get a message.
You only get a message if you DON'T pass... You have a rating so it may have gone live. I would suggest searching for the title and seeing if it shows up from the front page.

Edit: I know other symbols (*,',") mess up the search routine - not sure if the hyphen/em-dash does as well?

Ah, then OP, you might want to change the name of the book to "SignIn Sovereign" or "Sign In Sovereign" to make it more searchable.
I did that just now but still not found I wrote Sign in Sovereign

But the rating was from me that was pressed by mistake

You should (not required tho) change the title of your story to not have special characters, not how you search for it.
Also, I don't see the story on your profile, so it was not approved and thus is not searchable. You have to wait.

Thank you very much. And I did remove all special characters

Ai-chan tried telling chatgpt to write a story. The em-dash is really, really prevalent. It seems AI really loves em-dash, there's like one in every two sentences. So if a story has too many of those, Ai-chan too would say it's written by AI. Normal people don't normally use that symbol. Ai-chan can't even find that symbol on the keyboard.

I used ai to correct the synopsis.... Because this is my first work I didn't know if the synopsis I wrote was attractive enough for readers

A lot of people here told me to do the same. What İ did was wrote my synopsis and just made gpt correct my grammar because English is my third language. You can ask it to polish your work. Or ask specific lines so it's still yours. Trust in your skills but also be flexible enough to acknowledge when it needs work. Best of luck from a fellow new writer ?

This makes it rewrite elements, and it stops being your work. It kills the voice of the author.
If you want grammar advice, use services like Grammarly instead. Most text editors have had built-in error highlighting for the past decade (if not two), so this shouldn't be your excuse anyway.
GPT should be used for brainstorming, not "hey, rewrite this for me because yes." Trust me, readers can tell it was bulter-upped and most will drop the story.

A lot of people here told me to do the same.
They said so to eliminate potential competition, I'm sure :blob_hmm_two:
