I would just say I would send it to them when it's ready. (Of course, it will never be ready for them. And next time they ask me about it, I would say something like: "I've lost my inspiration for it" or "I need more info at the moment, so it's on standby.") And that's that.

It goes thus :
Him: so what's it about?
Me:ignores
him: so what's it about?
Me:...
Him: so what's...
Etc.
He's seen the cover, seen the quotes, and still pesters.
Reading compro obvs not great....

I don't... like this kind of encouragement or interest.
