There are a lot of stories that break these rules, though, and they seem to be doing well.

You can report any story you see that breaks the rules. Tony isn't omniscient, he needs reports to take care of stuff that breaks the content guidelines of his websites.

Just remember to take into account what Ai-chan and CL said. It's fine to have Rape. It's not fine to encourage rape.

And well, rape can be interesting in the novel if done right. Particularly if the protagonist is the raped one, it can lead to some pretty interesting developments involving trauma, so... Well, I don't see why it should be a taboo or anything~

I tend to avoid those situations, if I can. I'm glad to say that I don't have those sort of experiences, and I don't trust myself to write something sympathetic enough to garner such emotions without trampling over some heavy landmines.
