I know, but they guy really made me pissed. And thanks for the advice
Just walk away, don't get your back up, and like I said, figure out where you're going wrong.

I uploaded my first story on RR with more typos than zits on a teenagers ass, 9-line long paragraphs, grammar that looked like I failed seventh-grade english, and was fucking bulldozed by people telling me it was hot garbage, yet, it still did decently well considering how bad it was, the story being solid.

Again, it was the first time I ever had another human look at what I wrote.

Did it sting? Sure, but I wouldn't have come nearly as far as I have without people telling me how bad the shit stunk and how to fix it.

Now, my writing doesn't even resemble that heap, and I'm 60% done rewriting it. Just laugh the criticism off, take it, use it, and apply it to your work, 100%, but don't get emotional over it.

Imagine trying to sound thoughtful while casually insulting a young writer chasing a vision. I don’t need fake sympathy or your ‘gatekeeping’ advice — If you had just told me, I made some few mistakes, will it kill you.
btw I’ve already made the edits to the book, and I’m proud of my work. You don’t have to read it. Just remember the name when it does become the next big thing.”
Yeaaaah, no. You don't get to ask for feedback, insult people because you don't like the feedback you get, and then cry "WHY ARE YOU BEING SO MEAN TO MEEEEEE?!" when they hit back. You are obviously way too thin skinned to be putting anything on the internet. My best advice, and I'm being 100% sincere here, is to delete your stuff and come back when you're more mature.

This is starting to feel like Black Clover ?
Here's the difference between me and you: I made a typo. You don't know how to write a book.
You made the ‘reach me how to write’ mistake, not me. I just pointed it out. Don’t twist your own typo into an excuse to insult someone who’s actually putting in the work to improve. Stay mad.

I would've loved to keep going with you, but I'm starting to realise what I'm doing is bad. From now, I will just read all the comments about my novel if it's good I'll reply, but if it's bad I'll scroll.
But all in all thanks

No need to get defensive dude, I genuinely did feel sorry for you. This hazing happens everytime some poor soul selfpromos on this forum. Self-promo, mind you. Threads asking for feedbacks receive feedback. What you posted was an advert for your novel, which is why you were unanimously made fun of and didn't receive any 'feedback' because you didn't even ask for it in the first place?

I mean, some advice people give you is dogshit. I do think you should stand up for yourself and call it out. Not everyone's qualified to give you feedback for your story. Imagine writing literotica and someone advices you to flesh out your worldbuilding, like bitch that's not the point. I read a smut here long time ago about goblin rape from the perspective of an isekaied victim and though I thought it was surprisingly well-written, I don't think anyone—not even me, who actually appreciated it—would've been qualified to give advices / judge the merit of said story in its early drafts.

Rant over.

In the Story Feedback area (Story Feedback | Scribble Hub Forum). In the Authors General ... really, anything can happen, from being reported as an AI or illegal translation, to having your post moved to the correct area, to a flame war (as this seems to want to become) to actually getting feedback.
