when planning on how to do stuff.
It's important to actually make a timetable for stuff you would enjoy instead of just going. yeah I would work 8 hours a day. Cause what happens is you think about working when you start the day but then cause you are feeling somewhat depressed and hopeless you start youtube.
4 hours later of bullshit later. your work is not done and you still feel like shit.
So it's better to actually set realistic goals like. I will study 2 hours a day.
and then you decide what's the most dopamine inducing pleasurable thing you can be doing for 6 hours.
Cause if you don't. what's actually going to happen is you won't study a single second. you would watch youtube and then get tired by the end of the day. and either sleep or do the dopamine inducing thing.
now youtube won't be fun anyway.
so you just tortured yourself killed any hope you might be feeling without any benefit.
It's important that you actually do something which actually releases good amount of dopamine not boring shit like youtube or reading shitty novels.
or ok better idea. study befobefore for a hour then promise yourself you are going to do something really really rewarding.
instead of mindlessly procrastinating watching BS better just think what's the really really fun thing I can be doing.
you need dopamine
go watch re zero instead of shit novels
NOTE: give and promise yourself dopamine after doing your work.
like something you really look foward too

PROMISE LOTS OF DOPAMINE AFTER DOING WORK
seriously go watch re zero.

Dopamine is a lot like a candle. I can light that wick inside me right up, but, eventually, it's going to burn out.

What to do if we know that promise is empty?

well thinking about what you want to consume. like what do you like watching or doing. sitting and thinking what really could get dopamine for me. good anime works for me.

like I have observed that most important thing in getting anything done is genuine hope of success.
and just feeling of hope in general.
you hope that something good will happen immediately after work if you do it and that work would actually benefit you then you are able to work.

Ehem. Attack on Titan. Though I haven’t got to the final season yet since I’m watching this season’s anime from worst to best because I revel in the pain.

I once set up an alarm clock on myself that would alarm me to be productive. I set up multiple alarms which predict my every movements. Such as 'I know you aren't productive', 'You set me up so you gonna do it btch', 'Yes, let the productivity go through you....' finally ending with 'I will kill you...'

It went 0 to a 100 real quick and that is why i never set an alarm ever again. My schizophrenia started acting up and multiple me started writing which turned from an ordinary productive and interesting setup to a horror movie real quick.

that never works for me too.
like alarms just fail especially if they are abusing you.
you just get irritated and cringe at alarms

Maybe because yours doesn't predict every actions you set up and think it doesn't work.

Since I know my own habits to the teeth, even when i'll be taking a poop, it functions so well that I had forseen my movement such as alarming when I'm about to watch a youtube. Which is why it was a scary outcome since I know myself so well that my multiple personalities also know me that much and set up horror pranks which I feel myself being one of those characters in the movie. I rather see a real ghost than not be jumpscared when my alarm goes off and see the title 'I see you' at the bathroom pooping.

probably biggest factor in productivity is the feeling of I will be going to do it and getting praised
if you get the feeling you are going to fuck up and that it won't work while also being in bad mood then you have already lost
