I want novels featuring an important recurring (possibly main) character that is driven by an uncontrollable urge to kill it is important to have the urge drive the character, not the character chanelling it or using it. I want an addict not a psychopath), and who steals the powers of his/her victims in gruesome ways. For example Sylar from Heroes would sever the scalps of his victims and take out their brains to understand their abilities which led to them dying. I want something similar, not "oh, I shook your hand and now my super antagonist system took your power". I want something visceral and gory, something that starts with a struggle and ends with death. The character must be an unstoppable force, like a slasher antagonist. Somebody who can be stalled, escaped from but not stopped. You shoot them? They get up. And the longer they go, the stronger they get.

There is a character like that in my story, but he doesn't show up until fairly far into the story. Minus the power stealing though.

well, my story is almost based on that concept. Try it !
I pref not saying mush about it to not spoil, but I promise 90% of what you asked for is in this story.

And if you have ideas for improvement, or spot something I could do better, your feedback means the world to me.

well, right off the bat
The Unfair Blessing is a gripping tale of strategy, betrayal, and redemption, where morality blurs, survival is brutal, and the line between hero and villain dissolves in the face of overwhelming power.
this kind of snippet in a published book is usually added by other people, or the publisher. Not the author. Otherwise it can come off as pretentious. But it's a minor problem and I personally think an author should take pride in their work otherwise why tf even start, right?

Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate your thoughts on the snippet and the advice—it’s always great to get another perspective. ?

I think there was a Worm fan-fic with this premise, for very similar, on the Spacebattle. Maybe several.

...

That is just a straight up villainous MC as bad as Fang Yuan.

Did Fang Yuan ever got a happy ending? Not really, his ending was forced then axed.
