Not much more to say than that, below is the potential cover. The story is a WIP, but here is the link to what I currently have: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-qpLyHm5HVoxOLvIau4VTUO2fDIM4N-hznKwaShjhKI/edit?usp=drivesdk

To fit the aspect ratio, also changed my signature abit.

Not a pro in covers or anything, but this is how I'd do it + some pointers
- To me tilted text is more "dynamic" than just straight text, but the overall vibe that the bottom part has is calm and maybe even introspective...? So I just made the text straight in the 2nd ver (also why green for the text,,,)
- Filled the bottom part + gradient just to separate the sky and the land more visually + make the yellow less prominent (there's too much of it and it's very bright) + added birds to spice up the sky a bit
- 3rd ver is just more bg details to to dilute the yellow again and add the V shape for composition or smth + bigger text for visibility and the red is there to call back to the sun (so it is not the only red thing there)

To be honest, I like your minimalist version even over the (awesome) edits @Vitriol so kindly made. I think original just seems so raw. It's giving iconic, in a way where you could spot it from across the room, or forget the title but remember the book cover. I don't know what your book is about, so take this as a first impression that you could factor in to whether the cover is doing what you want: I think this book is about leaving home, bittersweet introspection, an being an amateur in a world that doesn't stop even when it feels like it should. If that's even somewhat true, then your cover is doing great work. The more polish that's added to it (shout out Virtriol again for showing different examples) the more I expect a generic novel. The original tells me "this is what's about the inside of the book" in a confident way that doesn't try too hard, but doesn't abandon aesthetic either. Hey, it's not like you couldn't release different versions eventually. I'm sure whichever one you land on will be great.

If you are interested, the link in my original post leads to my first 4 chapters. They are rough drafts at the moment so they me be slightly off, although grammar should be fine for all but the last few paragraph.
