I would think about it a lot. I'm doing the same right now and the only reason I have not managed to do anything up till now is because I don't want to burden my close family and the few friends I have. It might tip the scales.:blob_pat_sad:

You've reached the lowest point in your life. You don't have a job, a home, or anyone to aid you. The government is unconcerned about your well-being. Inflation, house prices, high medical costs, and so on are all hurting the economy.

Then one day, someone comes up to you. It's the future version of you! They have travelled through time just to make you a proposal.

"I need you to do something for me," they says.

"What is it?" You inquires apprehensively.

"Kill yourself," they pauses. "If you do it, you won't have to worry about anything for the rest of your life."

Would you kill yourself? Why? If yes, what do you think would happen to your future self?
Actually, I know that my future self would never say this, because if everything is fucked up for me in the future, then i'm sure that my future self would try and help me to fix this shit. (Or give me instruction if he can't stay long with me.)
And just the fact that he was able to come from the future, that means its someone else disguising as me in order to make it easier to get rid of me.
Because, if the future me wanted to be dead, he would know that I don't have the balls to kill myself, that's why he would just kill me, no questions asked.

I would need a lot more information than that. I trust myself, but how do I know I'm really talking to myself and not an android who looks like me or a body snatcher?

I‘ve struggled with suicidal thoughts before, but I’ve gotten over that. I think suicide is the ultimate form of selfishness, putting your feelings above those of the people around you. I don’t respect people who commit suicide for such selfish reasons.

Absolutely not. Your prompt:
1. Your future version tells you to kill yourself. Then how does the future version of you still exist? That's not the future version of you, that's something or someone else...

2. No, will not. Life can get shitty but who knows if there's another chance? Maybe next life is worst, maybe there is truly nothing after this. Got one life to make the most of it. Sometimes its the tiny details - things enjoy like cartoon, writing and someone reading it, pets, etc. that may seem insignificant but will feel one can't do without cause it brings one joy, no matter how tiny and faint and brief it is - who knows if next life has anime, sweets, pets or your favorite dish?

Sometimes feelin down is because of constant stress/pressure/situation/etc. from others but then it hits that some people have never even come as far as one has, some got just a taste of living but it was ripped out from underneath them before they can fully enjoy it, in situations that was far out of their control. Realize that have come far - achieved far, and no matter how shit things get, you'll be able to come through. You're tough, survivor for all the things that have already happened, and can make it through what comes next.

At the end of day no matter how shit things get, sometimes there's hope that the next day or the following day after the next day and so on will get better... hope. Hope keeps us sane and afloat, even if its reduced to near ashes, but like a phoenix, there's always hope it'll get better again, life will get better again, can survive and soar through the skies again.

Don't know if this words even help, but please seek professional help if you are at thinking bout killing yourself.

Goes against my religion. Plus those are worldly pains not spiritual pains. Humans die not to storms but a lost of faith. The man with any how can bare any tragedy when he’s left against the wall.

Honestly, no. Wouldn't kill myself in one bit, despite how much I've lost. If I killed myself right then and there, I'd just disappointed the people I bonded with. And the people who disliked me, they would win if they find out I passed away via suicide.
