What is your preference when reading a book? Digital or physical print?
Personally, I love physical copies. Digital books hurt and strain my eyes, and it also makes it harder for me to focus on a screen. A physical copy allows me to visualize my progress, its not as hard on my eyes, and I just seem to focus better overall. It's also nice to see my TBR collection on a shelf, haha!

Both is good, but I find myself reading more digital. Though the feeling of reading a physical book is so much better.

Lately I've been reading more digital. But I still enjoy having physical books.
In fact, I enjoy my study...

As long as it's not a giant ass college textbook, I don't mind. The problem with digital, though, is that some websites have ads in annoying places.

I prefer physical books so much more, but digital books are simply more convenient, in that you can effectively carry hundreds of them with you at any given time.

I have read at least four to five hundred fiction books in my life, but never have I ever consumed any of them in a physical medium.

where available, physical. i actually have a few webnovels in physical version (mainly being the first 3 volumes of Stray Cat Strut) and have a bunch of webnovels on one of my amazon lists to order in physical next time i buy from amazon. (mostly RavensDagger's novels).

Physical since I associate it with being of a higher quality and most books that I read on the internet is just shit

Physical. To the point that if a novel gets stubbed for a digital release, I end up dropping it since I won't be able to reread the beginning.

I prefer Ebooks because digital media is easier to handle, publish, maintain, edit, and read depending on tech setup.
As an author I especially know that it is sometimes more difficult than it needs to be to make a physical copy of a book as compared to an ebook. I still want to make mine physical too, but, ugh, those platforms do not make it easy for me.

Still I'm curious. Asking the same question, would people prefer physical over ebook, even at the cost of losing colored text where it would normally appear? As graphical objects, not exactly as images, but just wondering if it really is more important.

I buy physical as I collect things because I don't trust the future of having everything online will hold out. Then everyone will be fucked who didn't back up when one day they are gone.

But I do read them digitally as I am also a guy who doesn't want to wear down his possessions.

I would find it disturbing if my physical novels had coloured text...

Both are good. A physical book is a luxury treat. How can you resist the smell of a book? But I have to admit that I have consumed far more in digital medium due to its shear conveniences and accessibility

I prefer physical, but really only do digital now. The after effect of living out of a van for 3 years- it teaches minimalism.

Both. In this digitilization era, both is a must.

Physical every day. I will read digital formats because of how easy they are to procure but nothing saves that dopamine like having a physical paper book to read. There's joy in turning the pages and smelling how new or old it is.

Digital for novels cause I need 26px font size.
Physical only for Manga I absolutely adore. Me no space for all the BL novels I read.
