I think we are all getting a bit less exercise than we would normally get. You may be procrastinating from anything, exercise included. Let us have you place your vote for "Ideal Weight"(how fat you want to be) and have you try to be more productive! Whenever you start gaining weight, look at your vote, others' votes, and then your weight! Try to exercise to meet the choice you selected! You do not need to, but it is good to be healthy!(Though, too much exercise can be a bit unhealthy..)

Edit: Can't add more choices. Limits reached.

My ideal weight is any weight I'm currently at; being comfortable under your own skin is both a blessing and a curse

I don't think you can get any lower than 55 kg, since your body needs muscle and muscle is heavy. Well at least you can't get lower through normal means.

I just want to be healthy since I have periodic hypokalemia... I came from swizzle stick to a rice barrel thick and to my current normal, the only reason I visit the scale is to see if there is a sudden drop in my weight. If there is, hahaha it's time to prepare for an overnight stay in the hospital.

What is this strange measurement you use?

Forgive me, but this poll you have is a bit strange to me, and I think a few others will feel the same. Firstly, because it does not address topics of sex, age and genetics. And no, I'm not only talking about 'people have different body types' when I say genetics. People on this site are (I believe) from every corner of the world. As such, there will be significant differences in height alone.

Secondly, what if I'm comfortable with my fat, but not with my muscles? In such a case, my goal would be to increase my weight as I'm looking to get more muscles. And then it might instead sound like I have a thing for people with a lot of fat?

As such, I think that if you wish to promote exercise for the purpose of health, it would be better to set up a different kind of set of goals. Such as 'what should I achieve this year to be healthier', which could be things like 'run x km in y minutes' or something similar.

Apologies for the rant, have a nice day.

^^ With that you are in an exclusive club together with Liberia, Myanmar and the UK. Outside of them, barely anyone will understand you without using a converter.

I abstain from voting. The weight of a person is a poor metric to measure fat. A person can have a gut at 180 lbs or can be an absolute unit at 200 lbs from muscle mass.

Too many ladies fall into the weight trap. A fit rock climber can weigh more than a lazy chub because muscle is more dense.

I'm more about shapes. Got a muffin top? Do you jiggle around your arms and thighs?
Should probably be doing some exercise.

My ideal weight is also in kg but other than that, I'm trying to get rid of my university fat. Not quarantine fat, mind you, I had a full six years to put this on. I'm a stress eater and usually ate sweet stuff when I was stressed so I gained quite a bit and since it happened in small increments, I didn't notice at first and then it seemed to be too late :blob_cringe:
I've actually been quite unhappy with it so I finally told myself that I'll tackle this in 2021. So I first cut out chocolate and then I recently got a fitness tracker with some help from another member of the forums. Now, I'm doing 10k steps a day (actually, it wants me to do 13.5k now but I'm not quite there yet to hit that goal every day) and I'm slooooowly losing some of that excess weight. I can't see it but I fixed up my scale and it's saying I am down by 0.5-1kg which I think is a pretty good start already considering I'm not the athletic type and hate doing any kind of sports.
I have been thinking about cake though. Guess I'll look for some low sugar, low carb diet cake or something and make one this weekend after all. I don't wanna starve myself after all either and cake is neat :blob_melt:

Unless you are really short.
