As someone who tried out multiple time zones, I think there is no real “good time”. There are time spots where most people post their works, which results in your story being on the front page for maybe 20-30 minutes before its's pushed out.

So it is a tricky question with no real, definitive answer.

Hmm it may be true but I recently found out this (user base of sh), so I think we should put accourding to time suitable for americans, but I do not live anywhere near US. Can any one know which is generally the time for extra curicular activities like for rerading in US.

Bro your over thinking it. Personally you should prioritise being regular above anything else. Instead of aiming to post at the best time you should aim to appear as often as possible on the front page.
The reason I say this is if you look at your insights it tells you where most of your readers are from the problem is how much it changes

And to answer your question...
There isn't a perfect time.
Although, once you pick one, it is probably for best to stick with one. People are creatures of habit. If they don't find your story when they expect to they will find another.

@LORD_SHAXX That statistic refreshes every day. So you always see who read your story on the last day. That is why it can change.

@atom The user base is mostly American, so you can time it for them. I am from Europe, and I do count on that, too. My current book is designed to be an evening read as it is adult-themed. So I drop it at 5 am my time, but that is 11 pm for New York and 8 pm for Los Angeles. Just use any online time converter.

My experience is that if you post the 2 pm - 4 pm American time, you will have the least amount of screen time on the latest updates main page. Your story gets pushed out in around 20 minutes as a sea of authors use that timeframe to publish.

As counterpoint I note that as a reader scanning 4-5 pages of updates to Scribblehub will get everything posted for the last 10-12 hours; it's easy enough I usually just scan backwards until I hit the last chapter I downloaded. So as far as I'm concerned, it isn't when but whether!

More traffic, but also more competition. An element to consider. Very useful.
